Cookie's Peach Cobbler

FIRST -

2 – 4 cups sliced peaches / can peaches can be used drained

1/3 cup sugar

1/8 teas cinnamon

Grease 8inch square baking pan

Put peaches in cover with sugar & cinnamon

Second – Mix

1 cup flour

1 teas baking powder

1 tesp salt

Set aside

Third - in separate bowl – Blend the following 1 minute

1 egg

2/3 cup white sugar

¼ cup shortening (Crisco butter works well)

½ cup mile

½ teas vanilla

Pour Over Flour Mix and Stir Lightly until barely blended or just smooth

Fourth – Pour this mixture over prepared peaches / Don’t mix

Preheat oven 350 degrees / Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
