Seaview Fever
by
Pat. Cave

With apologies to John Masefield for ruining his ĎSea Feverí

I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is an enormous submarine and an inertial navigator to steer her by,
And the Lobster Man and the Mummyís curse and the giant robotís shaking,
And a grey mist on the Admiralís face, and a grey dawn breaking..

I must down to the seas again, to the vagrant submarinerís life,
With a flying sub and a diving bell and a Mona Lisa causing strife,
And all I ask is a merry yarn from a laughing fellow-voyager
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick's over.
